Bathroom Tile
We are about to discuss the various tile patterns that the homeowners may choose while deciding for the tile installation. These patterns are although universal, however, having a prior knowledge would offer you the edge while talking to your tile installation service provider.
- Stack Bond:
The tile pattern that we witness in most of the washrooms is the stack bond pattern where all the tiles are installed straightforwardly. You can choose this pattern for both the wall and the floor.
- Diagonal Tiling:
Next comes the tiling pattern where the professionals tilt the tiles to a 45-degree angle to make them a little edgy. The turning of the tiles to 45 degrees also turns the tiles from squares into diamonds. This tile pattern is considered most ideal if the room you have is small as this style would give the illusion of a bigger space.
- Herringbone Pattern:
Although the herringbone tiling is acclaimed to be perfect for the footways or driveways, it can make your bathroom stylish by offering a unique look. However, while working with the rectangular tile, you have to be extra conscious.
- Basketweave Tiling:
If you are more into rectangular tile the square ones, then this pattern is just for you. In the basket weave tiling, we lay the two tiles in such a manner that both make a precise 90-degree angle with each other. Each next tile is laid at 90-degree angle from the previous one, and this offers the illusion of a weave basket.
- Windmill tiling:
As the name has already defined in this tiling, the tiles are placed in a manner that they show a windmill. To have a windmill tiling, all you need to do is to arrange four rectangular tiles around one square tile in such a manner that it creates a windmill. This pattern can be made a stand out by choosing tile rectangular and square tiles in contrasting colors.
